Hi, I had gone to collect a certificate from Bangalore University on 9th October 2019 after 2.00 pm. I had paid the necessary fees and had taken all the relevant certificates. In spite of this I had to pay a bribe of 100 Rs. I was also asked that if I pay more, I can get the certificate quickly. This was demanded from the person who reviewed my documents and the computer operator who was collecting the fees for certificate. It happened at the inquiry office which is at the ground floor entrance.
Looks like it has become common to take bribe from people who come for collecting documents. Most of the people pay up as they cannot afford further delay. Request the concerned authorities to look into the matter.
