I had to pay 200 rupees for my passport verification. I had all the necessary proofs, nothing was missing. When I asked what these 200 are for, the policeman said its a fee!!
Doesn't passport verification come under the prescribed police duties for which they are paid monthly salary? Police are the people who are supposed to take care of law enforcements.Whom should we trust if the very guardians of law don't respect it.200 might look a small amount, but still its a bribe..
