Hi,
I went for passport verification after call from Ramnagar Police Station, Dombivli (E).
After the verification (being localite myself) police constable asked me, I will require 2 more witnesses, I said ok. He said to bring out verification there is charge of Rs.500
I said but nowhere it is mentioned on passport site, he said me not to teach him rules else he will 'look after' my passport verification.
I feared as it was required for getting my first ever job in life, and later he said, you're engineer, you'll earn in $ later so why feeling shame sparing some 100 bucks on us.
I feared, it was biggest mistake, now I feel, I could have ********** senior officer to ask about such FEES.
Fortunately I had only 100 Rs. I handed him over after cross checking my wallet.
Stupid mistake of mine...will never ever repeat now on!
