Police asked for 500/- for smoothly completing boarwell work in our apartment.

Due to water problems, now almost everyone in our society (sahwas society) is going for boarwell. In such case people around that place hear the loud noise and sometimes have traffic issues when the boarwell truck covers some part of road. We did boaring yesterday (25-mar-2011) and the truck was inside our premises. A police came saying surrounding people are complaining about noise. We too hear boarwell noise every now and then but we don't complain as people have to do this for overcoming water issues. My complaint is against these police officers / constables who ask for money on every boarwell site saying that they have got a complaint. They dont share the details of complaint and ask for money to close the matter. This police constable asked for 500/ and after negotiating we had to pay 200/-.
