Last Thursday evening I was going to Perumbavoor from muvattupuzha on my friend's lorry loaded rubber trees.It was more than double the capacity.time was just after 5 pm.On the way at Mannoor, a police jeep waiting and show the hands to us.The driver gave a 1000 rupees note to the cleaner and he gave it direct to the police man with out even stopping the lorry.the police man was expecting the money and he moved near to the lorry while the lorry was barely stopping.I was shocked by the incident as this is happened on a day light with any body can see this or can record this.My friend said it is a normal practice to give huge amount of money to police to carry over load on lorry.He was also happy to give as the over loading will give him some extra profit.He said, police always waiting there and other places after 4 pm expecting rubber lorries and collect thousands of rupees in a day.This oveloading also causing issues to the roads which is not considered by any body.Few peoples greed is distroyong our country.
