Police earning in lacs at check post near karur ghat (gaganbawda rd)

While coming back from GOA to Kolhapur we came across one check post just before Karur ghat. We were with family and carrying gifts for our family friends. Police at this check post demamded INR 5000 for passing the ghat whiout any reasons. As it was about to get dark we tried to convience police but they did not paid any attention and finally we settled with INR 3000. The police at this check post were not having their name badge on their uniform and were collecting thousands from every car that was passing through that check post.
I managed to take the photo of the check post and can share the photo if any one is ready to take action on them. They are earning in lacs every month. Someone has to stop the curruption.
