My father was a businessman; he used to deal in bicycles. Every month we used to get truck load of new stocks. All with proper bill, tax paid bicycles and spare parts. In every convoy we had to pay the local police at least 1000 rupees. Otherwise they used to confesticate the truck for few days, just to verify the details and to harres us. This results in huge loss. Just to avoid the unnecessary harassment we had to pay them. Even now also we had to pat them regularly. It’s been added in the operational expenditure now. This story is same with all of the business man in my town. This is going on from generations, my father paid his entire life and now my brother is paying it.
