I am from bihar and currently working at bangalore. I just visited my hometown for passport verification process. On 23 rd july 2015 the passport office forwarded documents to Rohtas S.P office which they sent to local police station( Chenari) on 10th aug 2015 . Now the passport verification process started with demand of 1000 RS as according to them rate is fixed and finally settled with 800 RS.
They even don't asked me any questions regarding my background or checked my id and the person who came along with me .
Still today the status is pending at passport site now i think i will have to pay to S.P office rohtas also.
