We have property in my Father's name, due to the taluka district changed to Nagar Parishad, the goverment has multiplied the tax on the property. We went to ask the tahsildar that the amount on property is too high as the house is in remote area and the property is 50years old building. Can rupture anytime, we do not have the money to reconstruct it & staying in only one room in it. The tahsildar denied to listen the appeal.
We went to Parshad(Elected guy) of the city Bhadrawati, he said pay me some your work will be done, we have paid 10000 and the tax was reduced. I am not sure how the system worked here.
