I was travelling with my friend in a hired private vehicle. We were stopped by a traffic constable on the pretext of routine check near jadunath chowk, cantt area. The constable pointed that PUC has expired and demanded a fine of rs. 1000. We were ignorant of the fine amount. Seeing that we were in a hurry the constable agreed to adjust it 4rs 500. We later haggled and he agreed to settle 4rs 200. "incredible india" . Later while browsing i came to know that 4PUC max fine was rs 100 as per provisions of motor vehicle act.
