I was going to my office on saturday 19th July 2014 - where traffic police caught me for inspection at mulund check naka LBS marg.
He demanded all the documents which i had in place with me. All document were proper only the PUC was expired just 3 days back on 16th of july 2014, To this he showed me a card on which fine for PUC was written as 1000 rs. This was quite shocking but because i had an important client call to attend i gave away 400 rs. Initially he was writting on a receipt sort of paper and asked for 400 rs so i thought he will be giving receipt, But after taking the money he didnot provide any receipt and on asking for receipt he said you dont get any receipt for this.
I checked on traffic police mumbai website where the fine is mentioned as 100 rs only.
