Actually i had moved to nearby ********** to my hometown. So to transfer the ration card which is a type of photo identity document , required to furnish for any kind of requests to apply passports, school admissions. it is similar like Indian version of US's SSN card. So this local guy who is a village administrator in my home town took 600 rupees just to mention in my ration card that i have been transferred to near **********. And other side i have to readty shell out another 1000 Rs for my new **********'s village administrator to mention in the same ration card that I am living in the new **********/house.
