I am consultant in Engineering, on 12/04/04 Evening 6.00 O'clock while I am going to my client from Bhosari to Indrayani Nagar. A group of policemen and police women with police van are always stopping vehicle as daily rutoine business. There timing is 9.00 to 11 am and evening 3.00 to 8.00 PM. A group 3-4 of Police stopped my two wheeler and asked for Driving License, I gave them. Then they asked for PUC, I showed PUC. Then they asked for RC book, I was not carried RC book that time. They take my driving license, and asked for 300 Rs fine. I asked for Receipt for my fine, they told me that they are not authority to make receipt
I have not liked to waste my time, and I am afraid of them, Because of My Driving License was with them and they were police, and I am Non -Maharashtrian
So I asked them What I have to do now to release me, they asked me for 250 Rs ,I had only 500 and 100 Note, I told them that i had not that much money, and then they asked for 100Rs
Then I handed that money, then they release my driving license
I think they are making minimum 10000Rs per day by hurting Poor people , Young people and non marathi people
