I got to know that this is a regular feature and that the bribes are collected by go betweens from the builder who in turn collects it from the home buyer and then handed over to all the officers and staff so that even if there is a raid by Lokayuktha the proof will not be visible.The amount in this case will be handed over to them on an ongoing basis with the touts also getting their share. Also came to know that if one is not willing to pay no file will get cleared. I had to pay rs 20500 in cash to the builder who handed it over to the touts resigned to my fate.
