Renewal of driving licence

I stay away from India and wanted to renew my driving licence. I was told According to rule it is not possible to have a renewal without my presence. I went to India for a short period and wanted it fast within that period. I paid the money but could not get the licence. I was surprised to see how the brokers are hand in hand with the officials and the wonderful network they have. They can get any licence for money.

This seems so good and easy. But in the greater interest of the safety of the general public it is a mess. I have tried for a driving licence abroad and it is so tough to clear the tests. We should have such systems in India and see that licence is not issued through these brokers. let them run driving schools instead and train the people to drive to rules. no one is made aware of the rules as a result you see the chaos in driving.

I do not want to complaint but my grievance is against the system.
