Rs 12000/- Bribe paid at Koramangle Registrar office for Apartment registration

After buying an apartment (2nd sale not newly built) for 26 Lacs, I had to pay Rs 12,000/- as bribe for registring it in my name. Otherwise each time the registrar will ask for some new document e.g. Land conversion order from commissioner's office etc. which was difficult to procure. After I paid the above amount, whole registration was done with in minutes and I was surprised at the efficiency of the registrar department after payng the bribe. Another Rs 500/- was paid initially to get the encumberance certificate for above mentioned property.
