I applied for change of address in passport. The Police official who came for verification openly demanded for bribe saying you can give what ever that pleases you(WTF giving bribe doesn't please) I had no option as my passport was at stake. I thought of paying Rs 50, but then gave him Rs 100. He denied and demanded minimum Rs 300. Luckily only Rs 250 was left out in my wallet, mercilessly he emptied my wallet and took entire 250.
