Ruthless speech and verbal bashing

In the morning we were on the highway from Bharatpur to Agra. We were stopped on the highway near a "sort of police station". They asked for documents. After failing to find a fault with documents, they started complaining that the vehicle was not registered to the driver(my uncle). It was a private vehicle of my uncle. They started verbally assaulting us and specially my uncle who is in his late 50s. Finally the cop playing "bad" wrote down on a piece of paper - 6000 and showed it to other acting "good". After countless requests to let us leave, they made us pay 5000INR. It was a terrible start of the day.:-(
