I had to obtain a verification certificate from the Local Police Station. When i approached them, about 4 Police Constables attended me and gave different viewes about the same. It was crystal clear that they didnt want to assist me without taking money. I had to wait for a whole day and the evening i wasnt given any favorable reply. I was asked for bribe of Rs 300 for 4 constables. After paying the money, i was routed to the Deputy Commissioner's office. When i approached them, there was no hesitation from them & got the certificate within three days. Later i was told that Intelligence Section (IS) is more honest & always keeps an eye on the local police activities. I should have told them about the local police activities, but i was selfish & so i couldnt do so.
