Allegation of failure to stop

Description: Stopped on road and alleged that there was failure to stop at a prior checkpoint. "Fines" of 4000 INR sought by police. I phoned associates with known police connections in supervisory roles to get help with the situation. Waited half an hour then cleared to go.
Corruption through harrassment, seeking money and not following through with due process.
