Can we register a new Car on our own or is it mandatory to register through the Dealer? When contacted the RTO Tiruvanmayur, they informed that the owner cannot register a new vehicle. Is it a clause as per the Motor Act? Please guide me.
The dealer is charging an amount of Rs. 68300 for Registration purpose. What would be the charge if the vehicle is registered by the owner?
