Intimidation
I was going to office from lunch . my driver was driver . we dashed into a young constable on a motorbike . we went to the police station. since there was no serious injury or damage the station policeman offerred to let me off provided i paid for the treatment of the constbles minor scratches ( while ignoring the damage to my car) . i refused . then they wanted to do a " samjhauta " in exchange for not lodging a complaint . i asked to be explained what a samjhauta or compromise was . all the while insisting that i would not pay money . they had to let me go
