I am 60 years of age and need my LMV driving license renewed. My license was made in Rajasthan but I want to renew it in Bhopal (MP). Going through the website, I could understand that I will fill up form 9, give 03 photographs, give a doctor's certificate, pay fees and it will be renewed in 20 days.

But talking at the MP transport call center, I was told that I will have to get an NOC from Rajasthan. When I asked the person concerned informing him that nothing of the sort is mentioned in the website, he said that it needs to be understood by the applicant himself. He did not agree to my plea that it would be easier if the MP transport department obtains the same from Rajasthan on my behalf.

What is right and what should be the procedure? Is their stand justified.
