Issuance of NOC for re-registration of Vehicle in another state
I am trying to get a NOC from the Motor Vehicles Dept of Thane (Thane RTO) for my Bullet, so that the same can be registered with the Raipur RTO. But these govt. officials seem not to move their pen without money. Several procedures were laid before me which included a NOC from SP office. Even the SP office is not interested to issue the NOC.
Upon contacting the RTO agent he demanded anything from Rs3000- Rs4000 for getting the work done. This is ridiculous considering the fact that there is ZERO Govt Fees for obtaining the NOC. Upon inquiring the reason for such a fees, the agent told that the Police Verification would cost around Rs2500- Rs.3000 and the remaining amount would be for the RTO officials.
I even tried contacting the Thane RTO Office & SP office through mail, but there is no response.
Can anyone please help me in getting this thing done?
