Bribing happened during police enquiry
Dear Mr ******* ,
Today(7 dec 2012) I went to RTO (Andheri) for applying of driving licenc for my son .
First filling of form 4 . it takes only 1 minuite .
take signature of Office in charge who sits in Block A . few seconds .
paid fee Rs 350 for 2/4 wheeler .5 minuits .
driving Test : the office asked my son to take a round of the ground by 2 wheeler & 4 wheeler. about 10 minuits .
again go to officer for signature -- 1 min .
submit the form on the window in block A .
all this procedure took about 30 minuits including waiting time .
I was astonished a the speed & also attitude of the officers .
The mistake we common people make is that we assume that there will be harrasment & we have to pay money
In some cases it may be true but if one insists on not paying bribe , they have to do your work .
In fact at this particular office of RTO (Andheri) mumbai , I have experienced that If you go yourself (without agent) your work is done faster than if you o through agent .
India is changing let us help the change.
