I took the required forms (one from the hospital and one from the crematory) to the BBMP office in Chennammana Kere achukattu, Bangalore. The officials there looked at the forms, asked me to fill up a form and told me it will cost 150. They said you can pay when you collect the certificates. Within minutes, I got an SMS on my phone and 5 days later I picked up the certificates after paying the required fees of Rs 150.

I was amazed.
