Dy. RTO Officer - Worli, Mumbai made a really difficult task so much easier
I would like to acknowledge the assistance rendered to me by Shri S P Metrewar, Deputy RTO Officer Mumbai East, Worli during October - November 2016.
I required a NOC to transfer my vehicle from Mumbai to Delhi. The problem I faced was this: I had a previously issued NOC on my vehicle for Chennai, which I never used, never shifted and lost the document. Since a record was already created in my vehicle, it was difficult to issue a fresh NOC for Delhi.
With Shri. Metrewar's help, I got this issue sorted out with greater ease, got the old NOC cancelled and a new one reissued. He also specifically told me not to approach any agent for anything and also guided me on subsequent processes of tax refund etc. Not just me, the general sentiment of people visiting this RTO was a very very positive opinion of Shri. Metrewar. I also wish to note that in general I have had a very good experience with RTO Mumbai East, Worli even during my prior visits for other requirements.
