Finally! An Honest Cop!
While taking a u-turn near Churchgate station, I happened to cross the line while the light was green and then was stuck for a few seconds as the car ahead of me stopped in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. By this time the signal turned yellow and simultaneously I completed the u-turn. A police officer who was standing there stopped me to book me for running through a yellow light.
He started by offering me a sweet/ candy saying that he gives this to people cause they get mad right away! Positively surprised, I explained to him exactly what had happened and was sure he would want a bribe to let me go.
To my astonishment, he chatted with me for a few minutes and then let me go without asking for any money. This really was the first time I have ever seen such an jovial and honest cop.
