Got DL with out paying a bribe...
I had enrolled for Car driving with ********** driving school and had to give 200 for getting LL through their agent. ididnt realise initially that the actual fees is only 30/- and the rest is their arrangement with the officer there. so i decided to go all alone for the DL without going through their agent. so learnt everything perfect, practiced well and went to office. Had to spend some extra time but finally i gave the test and got the DL without any bribe. was not asked either. the officer was so callous that he told me to go around without any
of their person sitting with me. just saw the way i parked and signed the form. I was very particular that i wont pay any bribe come what may and it paid off.. i was really happy.. as it written in the title here..didnt come across any honest govt official..not able to remove that line.. but i found a very helpful helpdesk and enquiry counter to answer all the queries at the new RTO at jayanagar.
