License Transfer
I had a valid International License (California) and according to Karnataka's RTO website, I am legally eligible to get a valid Karnataka Driver's License. I went to the RTO office and showed all the necessary documents. the Superintendent reviewed all the documents and asked for a Employment Letter (no idea why they needed this). Second time the documents were reviewed and approved. 48 hours later, the license showed up home. The process was tested again for my wife and another friend of mine. Pleased to notice no bribes were asked or no one gave us a hard time.
