I was afraid to go to the regional transport office ,as I have heard that it is an ordeal to get the learners Licence for my vehicle as I have purchased my new two wheeler.
Prudently and scaringly I went to the Regional transport officer,Yelahanka for the purpose of the purpose of learners Licence.
My attempt fetched me the result to my surprise, the system adopted in the office is applauding. I found no difficulty right from obtaining the prescribed forms and payment of fee etc. Everything was hassle free. Many a time people say that to go get Licence it is an embarrassment or harassment. To get the work done at the Government Offices, especially at the Regional Transport Office, it is night-marish experience as I have heard.
But, the trend is changed, There is a drastic and structural change in the system of functioning in the office . I was asked to undergo a written test. I scored the marks to the best of my nifty satisfaction. I cracked the test. The result was given immediately on the spot., I received my learners Licence the same day. I hope the authorities keep up the same tempo.
Niggandly and reluctantly I was not fluked in my attempt. Alas, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
