Bike head light was not bright enough according to Police

I was in balmatta signal when suddenly a police came before me and asked me to step aside road and aske me to produce all the vehicle documents,
when he notice that all the documents was up to mark he saw my bike head light and informed me that the bike light was Dim and i cannot ride my bike with that light,
Finally he asked 100 Rs as fine or else he would take my bike to the station i had no choice but to give him the money.
Government please take action against the Police officials,
