Bribe to get your license back after fine(challan)

Not wearing helmet was definitely my fault so the traffic guy kept on making me wait while I didn't had 100Rs his colleague was asking politely. So, I got a fine and my License was taken. That is when the whole story of problems started. I kept on circling around, paying Rs50/Rs100 from one clerk to the other, at the Police station near Doon Hospital and at the court.
Fortunately, one of my friends father is in Police so I asked my friend the alternate as he told me that once your license is there, you can't get it easily back. But yes, some of the people in there can help. All you need to do is pay them 500 in addition to the fine and you'll get it back. That's the easiest and fastest way to get it back. So I did that. It finally took 1000Rs to get my License back.(Additional 70Rs to the guy who handed it over to me. I wouldn't count it as bribe actually.)
