Hi,
I paid bribe for somewhat foolishness and somewhat stauchness. It was a fair Saturday and I had office off. I went to bus-stand to drop my daddy who was traveling other place. I bid him bye and just started my scooty. It was hardly 10 kmph when I got my phone ringing. I decided to stop in corner and attend. But I realized it was office. So before stopping. I received and stopped the vehicle. May be it was my fault to do so, but the cop asked for 500 Rs. fine. When I argued, he started abusing and asking my ID proof and etc. I said, I'm carrying a license. He said what about the other documents and PUC etc. I had all documents yet he said I violated two rules. One used mobile and second parked vehicle in no parking. I wonder if it was really parked. Don't know the definition of parking. I was so scared that I informed I didn't had that much money. And I really hadn't. He said how much do you have? I said approximately 180. He left the change and took all money I had. He also asked my mobile number which I didn't give him stating it was my office's phone.
I wish I could fight and ask what charges he was making. Police is the WORST and MOST CORRUPT of all government departments. I wish we end up punishing such guys.
