Dear All
I am sick and tired of paying bribes to Traffic Police @ Mumbai . I own a car & a bike . The Mumbai Traffic police is one of the most corrupt institution of Government . The traffic police is standing at every corner of city and they are stopping the commuters without any reasons . After stopping , they will ask for DL & put all possible charges on the driver of the vehicle . We are middle class people and dont want to get into court / cases . So we have to hand over Rs 100 or Rs 200 to the Traffic police . Its really sick and sad on traffic police part where they are stopping every other vehicle and take bribes . I would request the government to pass a bill , where the commuters should not be stopped , till the time they have broken some rules . Traffic police is no more a protecting body , but its on verge of disaster and corruption .
