I had been forced to pay a bribe of Rs. 100 to escape the Traffic Police unnecessarily damaging my car by removing the sun shade. Their claim that a new High Court order is out today evening whereby not even a minor sun shade film is allowed on car windows. I argued a lot about the shades being transparent and are only for bright sun. One cannot hide behind those shades. But the argument didn't lead anywhere and I was asked to pay Rs. 100 or face a challan of Rs 1000 for no traffic violation to start with and no wrong doing.
