It was after 8 PM, April 2007. The constable on duty near Q-Mart signal stopped our car and asked for PUC. The PUC was not updated as we had returned from Germany recently. So he demanded an outrageous amount of Rs 750. My wife asked for a receipt and he was taken aback. Then he detained our car and demanded at least Rs 50. We paid, even though I realize that it was wrong on my part to pay. I'll never do it again.
