I am a lecturer at a local college of Education. I was stopped by an officer on the highway and asked to show my papers. I had them all; but I was not aware I needed to carry the RC Book in my person. I said so to the officer.
He asked me to go in the van where another officer was sitting. I showed my identity card, and coollytook out my camera and slyly started recording. In a while he got another poor fellow and started beating him inside the van for no fault of his. He kept on demanding why he was being beaten. He asked me to shell out Rs 1000/-. I offered him Rs 100. He gave a nice lecture on corruption and agreed to settle for Rs 200. In the while both the officers kicked and punched the civilian that I found prettty harmless. I walked out; but not before I had recorded the entire episode on my video camera... the cop taking bribe, and also the cops beating that boy.
