Had I trf the amount his account...the blame equally stays with me for facilitating it...
I wanted to share something. Obviously won't disclose the names location and identity of people. I had a significant amount of income tax refund due. There wasn't any response against my follow up with them. One day assessment officer/suptt sent me a sms with bank a/c details, his name, amount (bribe) and asked for trf money to his a/c. He was asking for 60-70% of interest earned over the refund lying with IT. I waited for 2 weeks and calmly sent RTI to CPIO and believe me within 24 hrs, I had the amount credited back...without any cuts, any bribes paid. Moral- If you have all the right things around you, why to pay bribe ? Had I trf the amount his account...the blame equally stays with me for facilitating it...
