I have applied for the reissue of passport on 18 Jan 12. I got the new passport
On 15 feb12. I thought that no police verification is required. But after some days
I got a call from police station that i have to come personally for police verification.( yes its a post PV) I went to the police station and submitted all necessary documents. Last he asked for 500 Rs. bribe . I didn't pay the bribe. Dear Raghu could you please tell me that whether it creates problem. If the police send false report then how it will create problem as I have already received the valid new passport??? Plz guide me
