My mobile was STOLEN while travelling in bus, when i asked them to file a complaint as my mobile was stolen, so that i can insure my mobile but they try to convince me and filed a complaint as my mobile was LOST. when i asked them about it they told me nothing is going to happen both are one and the same, when i moved to insure my mobile they told me that your mobile was stolen by someone so you can claim your insurance but the police guys acknowledge that it was Lost by you that means you cant claim and its waste of time and money to wait for insurance. Again I moved to police station and asked them to give acknowledgement as stolen, they did not do that, instead they tell that you may be lying , you only would have hidden some where and filing a false complaint and he was talking so aggressively as if he would hit me (each and every member in police station ) , I just threw the false acknowledgement there and left the police station.
The lady police in police station took Rs 100 from my father for false acknoledgement.
she would have filed correctly if i would have given more money.
