I lived in Shalimar Garden Ext-1, Shahibabad, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, I have just installed an AC & being a responsible citizen I went to office of the Electricity Shalimar Garden Ext-1, & I was surprised to see that instead of guiding me & given me application form (I asked for the application form) they suggest me not to be worry just give us Rs.3500 & chill , they will do the needful without any documentation from my end I reused to do the same & came back to home.
Then I came to know that there is a notary who provide the entire documentation at the cost of Rs.220/- I met the notary & had done the entire documentation.
On 26-July-2014, I went to Shalimar Garden electricity office to submit the form & a fee of Rs.1300/- but I could not able to submit it, there was a single reply "concern person, Mr. Vinod Babu Ji, is not in office he might or might not be coming" I waited there from morning 10 AM to afternoon 2:00PM nobody helped me.
Today, against I went at 10 AM & met a person there he suggest me pay the bribe we will do the needful other wise you will be coming here for next 3-4 days then it might be possible that you will be able to meet the concern persons (Mr. Vinod), I calculate my cost of time & decided to pay bribe & know I am relaxed....
You will be surprised to see they people are openly asking for bribe.
