I paid a bribe to a police officer so he would do his job

I went to my local police station in Mundhwa to report the theft of wallet and my passport that was robbed the day before in the bus.
After filing the complain, the police officer took my husband on the side, in another office, to ask for bribe to give the stolen passport report. Note that without it I can ask for a new passport. We paid the bribe to the officer who was doing a job he is paid for.
