Most corrupt DHBVN JE-1 office Sector 7 Faridabad

New connection required for my builder flat in Sector -7 Faridabad. Earlier I was in delhi and power supply company BSES is very efficient & consumer friendly. However in Haryana, it is whole lot different ! I phoned on DHBVN call centre number 155333, but they said for new connection you have to visit local ********** board office. Since I've bought the flat in Sector - 7, Faridabad, I went to DHBVN office in Sector-6. There, DHBVN official who didn't give his name (sitting on a table where "CA" was written) told me to go to Sector 7 JE-1 office, who would "guide" me. I wa adamant that I should be given a new connection form in the office, to which he said that JE-1 office is he right place.
JE-1 office in Sector - 7 is next to local police station. Inside there are 2-3 rooms, out of which 1 is locked, in the other room, there is a bed, on which 2 people are playing cards and smoking ! There are no counters / officer or anybody !
The telephone number of complaint center and SSC no. is written, so I call on the number and talk to the officer who wouldn't tell his name again.
I was told to go to my home, and assured that someone would come to contact me for new connection.
The same evening, a person came to my house and calculated the load and asked me how many AC /coolers /fan etc and told that load is 5 KW.
He did not bring any forms, and told that new connection would cost me Rs50,000/=FIFTY THOUSAND RUPEES !!!!!!!!
I asked him his designation and he told that he was independent electrician authorised by DHBVN for giving new connections - to act as intermediary between consumer and JE-1 office ! I told him that I would deal directly with DHBVN to which he snided "tum ********** chakkar katoge par kam tumhara nahin hoga"
I called up JE-1 office mobile number and the official told me to come to the office, There, I was told that transformer in our street was already at full capacity, and that new transformer of bigger capacity was needed to release my connection, and that transformer were not available with DHBVN, so I would have to shell out bribe to get them to overload the transformer, or I could wait few months when transformer were available to get connection. What am I supposed to do till then ?????
The builder was even more demanding than DHBVN - he wanted 1 lakh for electric connection !
I don't have any choice but to bribe JE1 of DHBVN - but I did not do that. I acted intelligent and sold my flat in Faridabad and moved back to Delhi for a respectable & honest life. I pity people of Faridabad for having to live in such a **********hole
