I went to renew my passport using Tatkal services and its been 1 month now. However I received my renewed passport by paying bribe to the passport officer just for a stamp and signature. the amount i paid 1000+15000 to the officer. It was kept on hold just for this. The amount of effort and time I behaved like a normal person was huge and humiliating. Now, my passport is kept on hold for police verification and which needs another round of bribe. God save our country!
