I constructed a home after demolishing the old one. Then I applied for a new connection. They immediately asked 2,000/- and said it will be done withing couple of days. After waiting weeks, I approached them again. This time they told me that the plot has a due of 40,000/-. You have to pay it. I asked for paper or bills to prove this due. They were unable to do it because there was no any due. Previous land owner already disconnected the electricity decades ago. Since last 30 years there were no electricity on this plot. They started to avoiding me. I ask them only to prove that how they came up with 40,000/- dues. Time passing by and they were rigid on their demand. At last the matter is sorted out in 12,000/-. I paid them remaining 10,000/- Very next day I got the new connection. The person who came to connect the line aslo ask for money. I gave him 200/-
