I want to purchase new bike. I live in thane on rent. I have Rent agreement, SBI statement and bona-fied letter from employer as my local address proof. Dealer told me that the documents are not sufficient so I will have to pay extra Rs 3000-5000 for registration. I searched a lot on internet but there is no official mention of the required documents. I want to know that if notary affidevit is sufficient to get my bike registered. I do not want to pay bribe.
